Once we have received your order we will send an electronic invoice to your e-mail address as a confirmation of your purchase. It is important that you enter the correct e-mail address when placing your order. We recommend saving this email in order to facilitate any contact with customer service you may have in the future. The order confirmation (receipt) also serves as guarantee of proof of purchase.
You may pay with either credit or debit cards. In Sweden, Austria and Germany you may also pay with Invoice. We also offer the possibility to pay with Accelerated Payments. Please note we are currently unable to accept gift cards, merchandise cards, cash or checks as payment in the Webshop.
We use Shopify Payments as our Payment Gateway. It is a third-party service that manages all the steps from when you enter your credit card number i our checkout, until the money for your purchase reaches Barkalot.
Barkalot does not store any payment details like credit card numbers or Personal Identification Number.
Pay with your Visa, AMEX or MasterCard securely using Shopify Payments over the Internet. Your payment is handled by Shopify Payments with secure encryption and under strict banking standards. Your card details are sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or accessed by anyone other than your bank. There is no extra charge for card payments unless the customer’s bank charges a fee to the customer. When paying by credit / debit card starting conditions apply as soon as the card transaction is approved. In the event that no payment has been received after submitting your order, Barkalot may automatically cancel your order.
You must keep the payment information accurate and up-to-date.

When you choose to pay by invoice, you can decide whether you want to pay on the day of the order or later (up to 14 days from the date of order). It is important that you are registered at the address to which you want delivery. You also have the option to split your payment. We use Shopify Payments as Payment Gateway, and Klarna as Solution Provider for invoices.
On your payment, Shopify's terms and conditions will apply https://www.shopify.com/legal/terms-payments-se. You may be requested to identify yourself and credit reports may be pursued by the third party processor/provider. Barkalot will not have access to or store any payment information.
You agree to pay within the set time for the payment method you choose. We have the right to close down your Account until you have paid for all the charges incurred by you. Payment after due date can entail late payment fees and interest.
Barkalot offers accelerated checkout options handled by Shopify Payments, with payment solutions by Google, Apple and Shopify. These payment solution providers are saving customer payment and shipping information so that returning customers can more quickly complete payment for their orders. When a customer returns to a store that offers an accelerated checkout method, their information is automatically filled in at checkout.
Apple Pay lets customers pay easily and securely. With Apple Pay, the customer can check out by using Safari on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Google Pay lets customers pay easily and securely through your online store using an accelerated checkout process. When a customer pays for their order by using Google Pay, they don't need to manually enter their credit card information or shipping address. The customer taps the Google Pay button and Google Pay provides that information to the payment provider.
Shop Pay is an accelerated checkout that lets customers save their email address, credit card, and shipping and billing information so that they can complete their transaction faster the next time they are directed to the Shopify checkout.
Barkalot will not have access to or store any payment information.
Promo Codes should be entered during the checkout process to be valid. Attempting to add a promo code after purchase will not be honoured.
All prices shown on the Barkalot website, www.barkalot.com, are including VAT, in accordance with the applicable legislation. In case an order will be shipped to a delivery address outside the EU, the VAT will be removed at the checkout.
Please note that in case of an order is shipped to a delivery address outside the EU, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are collected when the shipment reaches your delivery address. You will be responsible for payment of such import duties and taxes. It should be noted that Barkalot has no control over these charges and, since these charges are different for different countries, Barkalot cannot predict their amount. Barkalot advises you to contact your local customs office for further information.
Orders made in another person's name without the person’s consent, will be reported to the authorities. Barkalot holds the right to change prices, correct incorrect prices on all orders as well as final sales. If a price is incorrect, this may compel Barkalot to cancel the purchase and refund any amount paid in the best way. This can be performed at any time.
You have the right to regret your purchase within fourteen (14) days from the day you received the product, free of charge. You don't have a right to return your purchase if the total price is less than 400 SEK, unless the item is damaged upon receipt. The right applies only in the case that the product and its original packaging can be returned in the same condition as when received.
If consumers use their right to send back an order they should contact Barkalot in order to get an address to send the goods to. If you should receive a damaged product, you are welcome to return it free of charge and receive a full refund. If you live in a geographical area where the national postal service does not offer returns, the customer may be obliged to pay for the return shipping. If an item is damaged during transport, Barkalot should be contacted within 30 days for information about compensation.
Note that we do not offer free returns if you wish to change your item for another item. We do not refund shipping fees.

Barkalot has the right to adjust prices, add additional cost change product assortment and related information without notice. The purpose with product images and information texts made available by Barkalot is to reflect the products as much as possible. While we try to ensure that all content on this website are accurate, errors may occur. Barkalot cannot guarantee that all product images accurately reflect the true appearance of the products, all product images should be seen as illustrations. The product images may differ depending on the color settings on your computer.
Barkalot ships worldwide. Deliveries are made in cooperation with the postal services and their partners. You have the right to cancel purchases and return delivered goods by contacting Barkalot's customer service or using the contact form on Barkalot's website within 14 days from receiving the goods (https://barkalot.com/pages/returns-and-exchanges), provided the goods are unpacked and in the same condition as when you received them. However, the customer is responsible for the risk for transporting the returned goods to Barkalot.
In cases, you as a customer believe that the delivery is delayed in such a way that you no longer wish to fulfil the order, it is your responsibility to cancel the order. In cases where the order has been dispatched, the customer is required to receive the order. Cancellation is not valid until the customer has confirmed with Barkalot either by email, chat or telephone. If a product has been discontinued Barkalot has the right to cancel the purchase and refund the paid amount to the customer. Barkalot will notify the customer of a replacement or equivalent item if available.

Europe: 2 to 7 business days.
Non-EU: 3 to 7 business days.
During high season and sales, the delivery can take longer.

Note that delivery of large packages can be changed to home delivery or pick up at your nearest access point, and that light packages can be delivered in the mailbox at you registered address.
We have the right to charge you for handling what arises when you do not pick up your ordered item in time from the place of delivery following transport of the items. Non-collected packages are normally not covered by the right to return items as well as the returned order.
Should your order be delayed you will receive a message of this, including a new suggested time of delivery, at the latest within 30 days after you submitted your order. You may cancel the order if you do not accept the new suggested time of delivery. If your order has been delayed, and the new suggested time of delivery has been accepted but the order has not yet been delivered within 15 working days after the new estimated time of delivery, you may always cancel the order by notifying our customer support team. If such a delay should occur, whereby you choose to cancel the order, we will repay the prepaid amount to you. If the order has already been dispatched you will have to return the ordered items in order to receive repayment. We will pay the cost of the return.
It is important that you as a customer carefully check your goods / items when you receive your shipment in order to verify that the products are not damaged and correct. If your product is damaged in transport, whether the damage is visible or hidden, you must report this as soon as possible to the carrier. If you receive your item and see that it is damaged or does not match the one you ordered, you shall also contact us within 30 days from receiving the product.
Any complaints shall be made to our customer service through our contact form on the Return Policy page. We will get back to you shortly. Same applies for returns. Defective items returned to Barkalot should be treated as if they were faultless.
It is in all types of returns important that the product is packaged in such a way that it cannot be damaged during transit. Barkalot has the right to replace defective goods with goods of the same model. If the item has been discontinued, the customer will receive a full refund. In the case that a returned product has no errors or faults, Barkalot will send the product back to the customer.
Your rights in the event of defects
In the event of defects, you may:
* Require a new delivery, meaning that you will receive other equivalent products.
* Require price reduction.
* Terminate the agreement, provided that the defect is of material importance to you.
* Claim damages for costs that have arisen due to the defect. You may also claim damages in the event something other than the Items that belongs to you or your family has been damaged because of the defect Items.
We may first choose to provide you with other equivalent products, provided that this takes place within reasonable time.
We are liable for defects that were on the Items when they were purchased or delivered to you. A defect that becomes visible within six (6) months will be considered as having been there from start (unless we can prove that the defect was not there upon purchase/delivery). After six (6) months it is up to you to prove that the defect was there upon purchase/delivery.
We are not responsible for any defects caused by you, for example where you have not complied with maintenance instructions or if you have mistreated the Items.
Products are defect in the following events:
* It is not compliant with what we have agreed, with regard to quantity or quality.
* We have not informed you about details about the Products which you ought to have been informed about.
* It is in worse condition than you could have predicted based on the Products' price, age and other conditions.
Sometimes we may rely on third party services and/or product providers. Such providers act beyond our reasonable control and we shall not be held liable for any damages caused by an action or omission attributable to them.
If you are a consumer, we only supply the Products to you for private use. If you use the Products for any commercial, business and/or re-sale purpose, our liability to you will be limited as follows:
* we shall not be liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising under or in connection with any contract between us; and
* our total liability to you for all other losses arising under or in connection with any contract between us, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall be limited to the total sums paid by you for the Items under the applicable order/contract.
Barkalot shall be exempt from liability for damages and other penalties on the performance of the contract prevented, hindered or delayed by circumstances beyond our control. As the release factor should be considered include government intervention, new / amended legislation, lack of state, war, fire, flood, labor disturbance, prohibitions, restrictions, sabotage, poor transport or weather conditions or lack of delivery from suppliers and the company is exposed to criminal activity that affects activities.
The Site is owned and operated by Barkalot. All copyrights, trademarks, trade names, logos and other intellectual or industrial property rights held and used by us as well as those presented in the Functions (including titles, graphics, icons, scripts, source codes etc.) are our property or third party licensors’ property and must not be reproduced, distributed, sold, used, modified, copied, limited or used (in whole or in part) without prior written permission.
Respect for our property
You must not tamper with, attempt to gain unauthorised access to, modify, hack, repair or otherwise adjust any of our material, hardware, source-codes or information for any purposes.
Respect for our intellectual property
The Items and other information, including all associated intellectual property rights, provided and made available by us, remain our exclusive property. You may not use our exclusive property for commercial or any other purposes without our written consent.
The www.barkalot.com website may include user generated content, for example social media applications. Barkalot does not claim any ownership in rights in such content (images, photos and videos etc.) and take no legal responsibility for it. In case you suspect a violation of copyright, or any other right, or otherwise is offended by such content, please contact our customer service.
All products remain in Barkalot property until full payment is made.
All frauds are reported to the authorities and Barkalot reserves the right to cancel the purchase if any suspicion is raised.
Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with the Swedish Distance and Doorstep Sales Act (Sw. distansavtalslagen) you have the right of withdrawal within fourteen (14) days from the day on which you recieve the Items.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear written statement. Please contact us by using any of our Contact Information.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is enough for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you are a consumer and you withdraw from a contract with us, we will reimburse all payments received from you provided that the Products are returned in an unchanged condition. Refunds will be processed by using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
Any Products received that you no longer want must be returned by you. Products that you wish to return shall be returned without undue delay and in no event later than thirty (30) calendar days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel or until we have received evidence that the Products have been sent from you, whichever is the earliest.
To return Products you ship the items (including receipt or other proof of purchase) to the following address: Barkalot AB C/O Emotion Logistics AB, Tegelvägen 4, Port 10-11, 382 92 Nybro, Sweden. We will ask you to pay for the shipping costs for returning the Products.

We will always first try to solve your complaints through discussions between you and our support department. In the event of a complaint or dispute you may, however, always contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Sw. Allmänna reklamationsnämnden).
Disputes regarding the interpretation and application of these Terms shall be resolved by the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes or by the competent ordinary court.
