RETURN POLICY

Before returning or exchanging any product, please use our return form and wait for an approval from our Barkalot helpers.


1. Can I return the product?

You have the right to regret your purchase within fourteen (14) days from the day you received the product, free of charge. Items returned after 14 days of receiving the delivery will be sent back to the customer. Return labels are only provided for the original purchase.

The package may be opened upon receipt but all items returned must be unused (in the same condition received). All original packaging must also be returned unused. Subsequent repeat returns must be covered by the customer.

Please note we do not refund shipping fees.

2. 🇸🇪 Sweden: How do I return a product?

In case of refund, the original shipping will not be repaid - unless we messed up. If you make an exchange we will send you the new product free of charge.

To return or exchange the product for a different color or size, fill in our return form.

 

Please follow these steps to return or exchange your item:

  1. Register your return at https://returns.yayloh.com/retailer/barkalot with your order number and email address you used for your purchase.
  2. Choose return, exchange and/or claim. Please specify the reason for your return.
  3. We will send you a return label via email.
  4. Place the items in the original dust bags and recycled plastic bag and seal the package with tape.
  5. Print and attach the return label on top of the original shipping label.
  6. Drop the parcel off at your nearest DHL access point. Visit DHL Access Point Locator to find your closest DHL access point.

Please retain a copy of your return receipt from DHL in case anything should happen during the return process.

You are responsible for the product until we have received the return. For your return to be approved, the product must be returned in good condition. We reserve the right to deduct from your refund if we perceive that the product has been used or damaged in any way, or in worse condition than when you received it.

NOTE! ⚠️ As the customer, you are financially responsible for the return of your product to us. Be sure to note the package ID and request a receipt and a tracking number.

2. 🇪🇺 EU: How do I return a product?

For other EU member countries than Sweden, you need to pay the shipping cost for returns - € 6,5.

In case of refund the original shipping will not be repaid - unless we messed up. If you make an exchange we will send you the new product free of charge.

  6. Print and attach the return label on top of the original shipping label.
  7. Drop the parcel off at your nearest DHL access point. Visit DHL Access Point Locator to find your closest DHL access point.

We will notify you when the warehouse has received and processed the return.

🌎 Non-eu: how do i return a product?

If you live in 🇳🇴 Norway, 🇨🇭 Switzerland, 🇬🇧 UK or in another county outside the EU, you need to pay for both shipping and customs declaration, otherwise we can't receive your shipment. Please use trackable shipping options, so that the package can be traced.

🧾 If you live outside of the EU, please contact us to receive a pro-forma for your return.

If you live outside the EU, it's important that you mark the shipping documents with “Product return“ and include information about the product type, original tracking number and product value due to customs handling.

 

Please follow these steps to return or exchange your item:

  2. Choose return, exchange and/or claim. Please specify the reason for your return.
  3. You will receive an email with instructions on how to return the package to us.
  4. Place the items in the original dust bag and plastic bag, together with the downloaded return confirmation*, and seal with tape.
  5. Book a return with a courier that offers you a tracking link
  6. Attach the return label on top of the original shipping label.

5. When will I get my refund?

The refund of a valid return is processed within fourteen (14) business days, unless we need additional information from you.

Your refund will be credited to the payment method you used when you placed your order. Additional duties and/or taxes will not be refunded.

Please note that your return may be affected during peak periods (e.g. holidays or sales).

6. Can I exchange items?

If you want to exchange to a different size or color, please return the item and place a new order for the desired item. We will refund your returned item once we have received it at our warehouse. Please note we do not refund shipping fees.

Use our return form to create a support ticket, and our team will reach out to you.

3. What is the cost for returning an item?

RETURNS: If you should receive a damaged product, you are welcome to return it free of charge and receive a full refund.

EXCHANGES: Please note that we do not offer free returns if you wish to change your item for another item. Please note, we do not refund shipping fees.

4. How do I make a complaint for a product?

Information about defective products, wrong delivery or transport damage should be given to us within "reasonable time" from when the defect was detected. A complaint made within 2 months from when the defect was detected is always considered to be done within a reasonable time.

Please contact support@barkalot.com and notify us about the reason for the complaint.

If we determine that this is a valid complaint, we will send out a return label which you can use for free return of your product.

As soon as we have received and processed your complaint, we will either send out a replacement item or credit the cost of the product depending on what you want.

We always follow The National Board for Consumer Complaints (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden) recommendations. In the event of a complaint dispute we advise you to contact The National Board for Consumer Complaints. Always remember to make a copy of your complaint if a dispute should arise.

7. Will you refund the taxes and duties I was charged on my order upon delivery?

Unfortunately we cannot refund you these charges. Please contact your local customs office to request for a refund (taxes and duties only charged for non-EU orders).

8. I paid with Klarna invoice, how do I make a return?

If you paid with Klarna invoice and want to make a return, make sure to pause your invoice through my.klarna.com so that the invoice does not expire before we receive your return. If you fail to pause your invoice before the invoice expires you may be subject to delay fees from Klarna. Please contact Klarna for further questions regarding your invoice.
